Professional Background
Adv. Siddhant Mohanty is the Founder and Principal Advocate of SM Legal, Advocates & Solicitors. He holds an LL.M. in Criminal Justice (Merit) from Queen Mary University of London and a B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons) from KIIT University.
With extensive experience in criminal litigation, corporate advisory, consumer disputes, commercial contracts, due diligence, and constitutional law, he regularly appears before the Hon'ble High Court of Odisha, District & Sessions Courts, NCLT, Consumer Forums, and other judicial authorities.
He has represented leading corporate clients, banks, insurance companies, and automobile organizations while also providing pro bono legal assistance to marginalized communities. He serves as the Managing Trustee of The Justice and Liberty Foundation, working towards prison reforms, juvenile justice, legal aid, and victim rehabilitation. He has also served as Guest Faculty in Constitutional Law at SOA National Institute of Law, Bhubaneswar.
